Philadelphia - October 7

Today we revisited history at the birthplace of our nation, our first capitol. After patching up the Liberty Bell, we went to Independence Hall, the scene for the meeting of the Second Continental Congress, the appointment of George Washington, and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

Later, we discovered the many facets of Benjamin Franklin and learned of the innumerable contributions he made to this country in Franklin Court.

We strolled Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continually occupied street in America.

Then, we sat in the Presidents' pew in Christ Church, while learning about the many prominent figures who worshiped there.
