Did I mention the weather? It's been absolute fabulous ever since we left New England. Temperatures have been in the mid 70's to low 80s, with blue skies.
Today, we rose early (well, most of us did) to take the commuter bus into Washington, DC. What a way to go! Our bus picked us up at a Park-n-Ride in Kent Island and delivered us to 14th & K in DC. We felt quite adventurous just taking this trip.
While waiting for the Smithsonian museums to open, we visited the White House and other various DC attractions.
