Roanoke to Pigeon Forge - October 17

Today we traveled from Roanoke to Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood. The drive from I40 to Dollywood is approximately 16 miles of bumper to bumper traffic with tourist attractions, motels, trinket shops, restaurants, and outlets along the road. Looks like Disneyland or the Vegas strip in the 50s's times 20. Unbelievable! We overnighted at the KOA Campground.
